Concept and Development

As a graphic designer with over 20 years of experience, one of my main goals is to help brands communicate clearly, authentically, and strategically. In this case, the challenge was to create an annual calendar for Centre Mí¨dic de Castelldefels that would not only be practical and functional but also reinforce the brand identity and create an emotional connection with its patients.

The design is built on a simple yet powerful idea: health is not just a service - it's a way of life. That´s why each month includes an inspiring quote about physical, mental, or emotional well-being, from great thinkers such as Lao-Tzu, Hippocrates, or the WHO. These messages not only humanize the center´s communication but also reflect its values in a warm and approachable way.

Visually, the calendar features a clean, structured layout for easy readability, combined with a soft color palette that conveys professionalism and trust. Practical information (addresses, services, hours) is seamlessly integrated with the center's visual identity, striking a balance between institutional design and emotional engagement.

This project illustrates how editorial design - even something as seemingly simple as a calendar - can become a strategic brand communication tool. Listening to the client´s needs, understanding their audience, and translating that into a useful, visually appealing piece is what I strive to do every day.
